Health Experts warn of four new emerging coronavirus variants:- The coronavirus is here to stay and India is done with the second wave of coronavirus. The experts warned that the third wave of coronavirus will hit the country in October and they asked the government to be prepared for it. The health experts warned of four newly emerging coronavirus variants apart from the Delta Plus which is now spread across 100 countries of the globe. The Delta plus is named as a variant of concern by the World Health Organization (WHO). The four new variants are B.1.617.3 (a sibling of Delta variant), B.1.1.318 (it comes with 14 mutations), Lambda variant (it is a variant under investigation) and B.1.617.1 (one more sibling of Delta variant).

B.1.617.3 and B.1.1.318 are already present in India but Lambda is yet to be traced and it is not present in India for now. But the Lambda variant is spreading on a faster note across the globe. The international air travel is spreading the new variants to many countries as per the Health experts. The Indian scientists are in the hunt for the genomic surveillance to find the solutions for the new emerging variants. B.1.617 is a double mutant and it is traced in Maharashtra. This gave rise to three more variants: B.1.617.1, B.1.617.2 and B.1.617.3. The health experts said the viruses are here to mutate and they multiply soon. They change the ability to infect the humans at a faster rate of transmission.
