6617 new coronavirus cases reported in Andhra Pradesh:- A total number of 6617 new cases of coronavirus are reported in Andhra Pradesh. Along with Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh continued to report a high number of new cases on a daily basis. The total tally of coronavirus cases in the state reached 18,23,856 and the total number of recoveries for coronavirus reached 17,40,281. With 57 new deaths in the state, the total deaths in the state reached 12,109 and there are 71,466 active cases for coronavirus in the state in total. The total samples tested in Andhra Pradesh yesterday are said to be 1,01,544 and the state reported 10,228 new recoveries in Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours.

The total number of samples tested in Andhra Pradesh till date are said to be 2,07,36,435. Chittoor, East Godavari, Prakasam, Srikakulam, West Godavari and Anantapur districts reported a high number of cases in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate in the state is now at 6.51 percent. A total number of 62,224 new cases for coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours taking the total number of cases to 2,96,33,105. With 1,07,628 new recoveries and discharges, the total number of recoveries in the country reached 2,83,88,100. With 2542 new deaths reported in the country, the total death toll climbed to 3,79,573.
