Huge ruckus at AP and Telangana border:- The coronavirus is spreading on a faster note and there are tense situations across the borders after the Centre asked the states to impose their own rules. The officials of Telangana stopped the ambulances at the state border of Andhra Pradesh which raised several controversies. The ruckus returned back at the border on Sunday after Telangana rejected the entry of vehicles that are coming into the state without e-passes. The officials rejected the entry even during the relaxation time between 6 AM and 10 AM. The traffic was stalled for hours and people struggled on the roads who had no option. Some of them took the portal of Telangana to generate e-pass.
There were hundreds of vehicles stranded at the Ramapuram crossroads on the Vijayawada and Hyderabad national highways. Similar situations were seen at Garikapadu, Pondugala, Dachepalli and Nagarjunasagar across the borders. All the vehicles with e-passes and ambulances are allowed into Telangana. Some of them entered into an argument with the cops at the borders after new norms are implemented without any prior information. Even the Andhra Pradesh government made an e-pass mandatory but the passes are generated. When it comes to e-pass in Telangana, they are not generated and the portal was down for hours which created enough problems for the travelers.
The Telangana government has been implementing strict lockdown after 10 AM and all those without proper ID cards and e-passes are sent back and huge fines are imposed. Even the food delivery chains and e-commerce deliveries are disrupted over the weekend. Both AP and Telangana governments imposed lockdown till May 31st and the lockdown would be extended as per the situations.
