3,66,161 new Coronavirus cases reported in India:- A total number of 3,66,161 new cases for coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours and the total tally of cases reported in India reached 2,26,62,575. With 3754 new deaths reported in the last one day, the death toll climbed to 2,46,116. The total recoveries in India stand at 1,86,71,222 and there are 37,45,237 active cases for coronavirus in the country. As per the reports coming from the Union Health Ministry, the total number of people who took the vaccination dose in India reached 17,01,76,603 and the people vaccinated yesterday in India are 6,89,652. A total number of 3,53,818 people recovered or got discharged in the last one day in India.
As per the reports coming from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total samples for coronavirus tested in India till date are said to be 30,37,50,077 and the samples tested yesterday are 14,74,606. The states of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana extended lockdown in their respective states for one more week to bring things to a control. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin launched a coronavirus relief program through which 2.07 crore people will get Rs 2000 for the month of May. The country witnessed long queues all over near the vaccination centres. The scarcity of vaccination doses continues all over.
