Third wave of Coronavirus can be controlled in India:- Though the scientists predicted about the second wave of coronavirus in the country, the government failed to take the needed measures to curb the spread. The spread of coronavirus is unstoppable and the death rate reached all time high. A daily number of 4 lakh plus cases are reported in the country on a regular basis. The Centre is criticized for not taking enough measures. There is a huge shortage for vaccination too in the country. The scientists predicted that there may be a third wave of coronavirus in the country and the debates are going on if India can stand before the third wave of coronavirus. The Centre says that the third wave of coronavirus can be controlled in the country. A top adviser for the government says that the third wave of coronavirus can be prevented if strict measures are implemented.
K Vijay Raghavan, the Principal Scientific Adviser for the country said that the insidious asymptomatic transmission can be controlled and prevented if the country is cautious and takes all the needed measures. The Centre should guide the people about the precautions and about the surveillance and the government should implement strict measures. Vijay Raghavan recently made a statement that the virus will mutate further across India and there is a third wave of coronavirus but the time cannot be predicted for now. He said that the second wave witnessed a decline in some of the states of the country for now. He asked the people to be extra cautious and follow all the needed social distancing guidelines for coronavirus.
Vijay Raghavan said that the infection takes a rise when the virus has an opportunity to infect the humans. At the same time, the virus calms down when there are no opportunities left. Social distancing and wearing facemasks can prevent the spread of coronavirus.
