Coronavirus Indian tally crosses 2 Crore Mark:- India is the most impacted country of the globe due to the second wave of coronavirus. The new cases reported are increasing at a fast pace and the daily tally of cases crossed 4 lakh mark recently which is the highest ever in the country after the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic. The total tally of coronavirus cases crossed 2 crore mark as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. 3,57,229 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours in the country and the total reported cases in India reached 2,02,82,833. A total number of 1,66,13,292 people recovered and are discharged from coronavirus in India till date. With 3449 new deaths reported, the total death tally in India climbed to 2,22,408.
The total number of active cases in the country are said to be 34,47,133 and the total number of Indians who took up the dose for coronavirus vaccination are said to be 15,89,32,921. The reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research say that the total number of coronavirus samples tested in the country in total are 29,33,10,779 and the samples that are tested yesterday are said to be 16,63,742. The government of Bihar announced a strict and complete lockdown in the state till May 15th. Maharashtra, Karnataka, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh are the most impacted states of the country due to coronavirus. The shortage for the vaccinations and the hospital beds continued in India this week too. BCCI announced that the IPL 2021 has been postponed for now and the call will be taken at a later date about the cancelation of the season.
