14,792 new Coronavirus cases reported in AP:- The new cases of coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh increased at a rapid speed and the spread is huge. Out of the 86,035 tests conducted in the state in the last 24 hours, the total new cases reported positive are said to be 14,792. 57 people passed away due to coronavirus in the state in the last 24 hours. 10,81,441 cases of coronavirus are reported in the state till date and the total number of people who got discharged are said to be 9,59,355. A total number of 7928 people passed away in the state till date and the total number of active cases of coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh are said to be 1,14,158. As per the reports from the Health Department, the total number of samples tested for coronavirus in AP till date are 1,63,03,866.

Anantapur, Chittoor, East Godavari, Guntur, Kurnool, Nellore, Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam districts reported high number of cases in the last 24 hours in Andhra Pradesh. 8188 people recovered from coronavirus completely in the last 24 hours. In a surprising move, the government of Andhra Pradesh announced that the examinations for the Intermediate students will commence as per the schedule from May 5th in the state. A total number of 3,79,257 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours in the country. The death toll in the country is 3645 in the last 24 hours which is the highest in the country till date. The total number of coronavirus cases in the country stands at 1,83,76,524 and the total number of recoveries in India are 1,50,86,878.
