Narendra Modi rules out the option of a second lockdown:- The second wave of coronavirus is unstoppable in the country and the Indian government is trying its best to bring things to a control. Several states announced night curfews and restrictions in their limits after the Centre asked the states to take a call as per the situation. Narendra Modi addressed the country in the night and he issued a clarification that there is no chance or option of a second lockdown in the country. He urged the people to be extra cautious and safe enough to avoid the second lockdown in the country. The active cases climbed from 2 lakhs to 20 lakhs in no time. Modi said that the Centre is trying hard to meet the demand of oxygen and the hospital beds across the country. Modi also said that the lockdown should be the last option for every state. Modi announced no relief packages for migrant workers and small traders.

"Focus more on micro containment zones rather than a lockdown. I urge the states to consider lockdown as the last option. Youth should form small committees and help the coronavirus administration in their areas. India is the fastest to vaccinate the people across the world. Till date, we have administered 12 crore vaccination doses and from May 1st, all the people above the age of 18 years can get vaccinated. We are working hard to increase the number of beds in all the hospitals. There are several large hospitals built currently to accomodate the beds. India is currently in the toughest phase and the second wave of coronavirus is making us sleepless. We can overcome this with courage and preparation. We are going through so much pain and several people lost their loved ones during pandemic time" told Narendra Modi.
