Maharashtra heads for a 15 day Lockdown:- Maharashtra happens to be the most impacted state in the country due to coronavirus and the spread, second wave is unstoppable in the state despite of several measures taken. The government now imposed lockdown in the state starting from tomorrow and Section 144 is imposed in the state. All the essential services will be made available in the state for the next 15 days. Maharashtra Chief Minister is in plans to request the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to direct the air force to help the state to reach the requirement of oxygen. All the public transport facilities will be available for essential workers and not for general public. The e-commerce platforms will be allowed to deliver the essential goods across the state. The government strictly banned all the religious, political, cultural and social events in the state for the next 15 days.
Maharashtra government announced that 3kg wheat and 2kg rice will be provided to the poor and needy in the state for the next one month. All the weddings happening in this season will have a maximum number of 25 people present. Funerals can take place with 20 people in presence.
