VK Sasikala released after four years from Jail:- VK Sasikala, the close aide of ex-Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Late J Jayalalithaa has been facing the jail term in the disproportionate assets case and was sentenced to jail for four years. She is residing in a Bengaluru prison in the corruption case. VK Sasikala was tested positive for coronavirus recently and is admitted in a Bengaluru hospital recently and is on a ventilator. She was suffering with fever and breathing-related issues. VK Sasikala got released from the jail after four years but she will continue to remain in the hospital in Bengaluru for three more days till she recovers completely from coronavirus.

VK Sasikala will get protection from the Bengaluru cops. The 66-year-old is formally released from Parappana Agrahara prison after all the formalities are completed today. VK Sasikala will continue to stay in Victoria Hospital where she is being treated for coronavirus. A huge crowd gathered outside the hospital raising slogans and distributed sweets on the occasion of VK Sasikala's release. The hospital authorities announced that her health condition is completely stable and she is recovering well. "The decision for her to continue treatment in Victoria Hospital has been taken by her and her family members," told the health bulletin from the hospital.
