India Reports the Lowest Daily Tally of Coronavirus Cases after Seven Months:- It has been 301 days since the Indian government announced a national lockdown and the restrictions are lifted slowly after months. The daily tally of cases reported in the country in the last 24 hours is said to be 10,064 which is the lowest in the past seven months as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The daily tally has been below 20,000 from the past 12 days and the total number of coronavirus cases in the country reached 1,05,81,837. The total number of active cases of coronavirus are said to be 2,00,528 and 17,411 people recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
The total number of recoveries in India are said to be 1,02,28,753 and the death tally reached 1,52,556. As per the reports coming from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total samples tested in India are said to be 18,78,02,827 and the samples tested in the country yesterday are said to be 7,09,791. Kerala is now the leading state with active cases of 68,617 while Maharashtra stands second with 51,887 active infections. The global tally of coronavirus is at 9,55 crores and 20.39 lakh people passed away due to the coronavirus pandemic. The vaccination drive in the country is currently going on in the country. Bharat Biotech secured a fresh letter from the Centre to supply 45 lakh doses of Covaxin, the vaccine for coronavirus.
Telangana reported 256 new cases along with two new deaths taking the total tally of cases to 2.92 lakhs. The Indian government is in plans to gift 2 million doses of Covishield to the neighboring countries Nepal and Bangladesh.
