Bharat Bandh: Farmers Receive Wide Support Across The Country

Bharat Bandh: Farmers Receive Wide Support Across The Country:- The farmers of the country are opposing the newly introduced farm laws and they want the amendments to be done. They have been protesting in lakhs at the Delhi border and the new set of discussions with the Centre will take place today. The farmers called for a Bharat Bandh today which will take place between 11 AM and 3 PM. All the Indian political parties supported the Bandh. Thousands of farmers from Karnataka are joining the Bharat Bandh today. Several schools and colleges across the country decided not to conduct online classes to support the farmers. Several shops across the country are shut and the public transport is not available for the public.

The farmer leaders told that they are not ready to disrupt the emergency services across the country. The Delhi cops beefed up the security across the borders and the traffic is diverted. The borders of Tikri, Jharoda borders, Dhansa are closed and Daurala, Kapashera, Rajokri NH 8, Bijwasan/Bajghera, Palam Vihar and Dundahera borders are open informed the Delhi police. All the examinations scheduled for today under Osmania University jurisdiction are postponed because of the Bharat Bandh. Gujarat Chief minister of Gujarat Vijay Rupani told that the government will not support Bharat Bandh. The Indian Railways issued directives for the trains across the major routes in the 16 states. Several highways across the country are expected to be blocked from 11 AM to 3 PM.

The Bank unions said that they would support the farmers but will not participate in the Bandh. Punjab which is ruled by Congress is on a complete shutdown for the day. Tamil Nadu government is not supporting the bandh. The states that are run by BJP are expected to be less severe for Bharat Bandh.
