The Panchayat Raj Amendment Bill was approved in the house.

The opposition TDP had objections and wanted some of them to be rectified. AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy gave an explanation for the same and the bill was passed. After this, TDP walked out of the Assembly house. After staging protests all the TDP legislators have been suspended for a day.
