Shocker: 7.43 Cr Indians Infected With Coronavirus:- The Indian tally of coronavirus cases now stands at 93.09 lakhs as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. But a study suggested that over 7.43 crore Indians are infected with coronavirus by August 2020. The news is revealed in the second serosurvey of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The virus is spread across the urban slums the most and was high in cities than in the rural regions of the country. With most of the Indians having a strong immune system and resistance to fight the disease, the symptoms are not seen in most of the Indians.

The study also said that 50 percent of the Indians would be infected with coronavirus. The study was published in the Lancet Global Health journal. The study also said that the people living in the slums are infected mostly and the spread was huge as they did not follow social distancing. The study also suggested that everyone among the 15 Indians are infected with coronavirus by August this year. The study also said that the spread of coronavirus would be high in the rural regions than in the urban regions.
