Coronavirus India: Tally Reaches 91 Lakhs:- With 45,209 new cases, the total tally of coronavirus cases in the country reached 91 lakh mark. The total cases stand at 91,39,865 and the total number of recoveries in the country are at 85,62,641 as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The death toll in India mounted to 1,33,738 and 511 new deaths are reported in the country yesterday. 121 among them are from the national capital New Delhi alone. The active cases in the country stand at 4,43,486 which is equal to 4.85 percent of the total caseload. The national recovery rate in India is at 93.68 percent and the fatality rate is at 1.46 percent.

As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total samples tested in the country till date are said to be 13.25 crores and the samples tested yesterday are said to be 8,49,596. As per the new study published by the University of Colorado Boulder and Harvard University, the researchers said that frequent and rapid testing of coronavirus can eliminate the virus within weeks. The Supreme Court asked the Centre along with all the states to file reports about the steps that are taken by the governments to deal coronavirus situation in the respective states. Rajasthan health minister Raghu Sharma tests positive for Covid-19.
