GHMC Polls to be held in December?:- The government of Telangana led by TRS received a rude shock from the people in the recent Dubbaka bypolls. With the recent rains and several colonies submerged in the low-lying regions, most of the people are furious on the government of Telangana after which the Telangana Chief Minister KCR decided to push the GHMC polls to next year. But in a sudden surprise, KCR announced that the GHMC polls will take place next month and the notification for the same will be out after Diwai. The elections would take place two weeks after the notification would be out.

KCR asked the party supporters to work for the polls and KTR has been appointed as the in charge for the GHMC polls. KCR met the Ministers, legislators and officials to discuss about the GHMC polls. The meeting went on for seven hours and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi too participated in the meeting. KCR wanted the officials and leaders to present the development activities initiated by the Telangana government in the city. KCR wanted the leaders to work for 100% victory in the GHMC polls. KCR also said that BJP will not be a tough competitor for TRS in the GHMC polls.

Several ministers are asked to take the responsibility as per the divisions in the corporation limits.
