Coronavirus India Tally Crosses 75.5 Lakh Mark:- Today is the 210th day after India implemented lockdown in the country. The total tally of coronavirus cases in the country reached 75.5 lakh mark with 55,722 new cases reported in the past 24 hours as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The total cases reported are said to be 75,50,273 and the death tally in India stands at 1,14,610. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh continued to be the states that have reported huge number of cases in the country. The recovery rate in India is now at 88.3 percent. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples tested in the country till date are said to be 9,50,83,976.
The total number of samples tested yesterday are 8,59,786. 579 people passed away in India yesterday as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. Maharashtra tops the chart with 15,95,381 cases and Andhra Pradesh stands second with 7,83,132 cases. The total number of active cases in India are now at 7,72,055 and a total number of 66,63,608 people recovered completely from the coronavirus pandemic. As per the reports from the Reuters, the global tally of cases stands at 4 crores and 11.12 lakh people died to date across the world.
