62,212 New Cases of Coronavirus Reported in India:- The coronavirus wave seemed to have reduced when compared to the last month but the country has been witnessing around 60,000 new cases in the country. A new number of 62,212 cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours and the total tally of cases reached 74.3 lakhs. The fatality rate in the country stands at 1.52 percent. The total number of cases is said to be 74,32,681 and 65,24,596 people recovered completely from the virus. The number of active cases in the country is at 7,95,087. The total deaths in the country due to coronavirus are 1,12,998.

837 people passed away in the country yesterday as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The active cases dropped below 8 lakh which is a great news. Dr Reddy's Laboratories have been working on a vaccine and the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) granted permission to conduct the second phase of human trials. Kerala's famous Sabarimala temple is now open to public from today which has been shut after coronavirus cases are reported among the priests. 3428 new cases are reported in Delhi and the total cases in the national capital stand at 3,24,459. Andhra Pradesh reported 3967 new cases by Friday and the total reached 7,75,470.
