Nara Lokesh Slams the Government for Ignoring Flood-hit Farmers:- Telugu states received a huge downpour of rains this week. Telangana's Hyderabad is left flooded because of the huge rains and some of the regions of Andhra Pradesh received heavy rains. TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh slammed the Andhra Pradesh government for ignoring the flood-hit farmers in this tough time. He said that the government will pay its price for ignoring the sufferings of the farmers. Several fields are left in floods leaving the farmers in heavy losses. Some of the farm lands are still left with floodwaters. Nara Lokesh paid his visit to some of the farmers. Over 14 people passed away in the state due to the floods in this week.

"Farmers suffered Rs 400 crores losses but the government is not ready to pay any relief and stand as a support for them. The government will pay the price for their mistakes and for ignoring the farmers of the state" said Lokesh. He paid a visit to rain-hit crops in Tenali, Mangalagiri and Vemuru Assembly constituencies in Guntur district. Lokesh stepped into the knee deep waters and interacted with the farmers there. He inquired about the problems of the farmers and about the losses they incurred. Lokesh slammed YS Jagan who promised to bring Rythu Rajyam saying that he is keen to bring a state without farmers.
