Purandheswari and DK Aruna Inducted into BJP Central Team:- BJP has been showing a clear domination in the northern states and Narendra Modi, Amit Shah are working on a mission to hoist the flag of BJP in the southern states. The new Central team has been announced by the BJP today. The party has been struggling for a strong face across the Telugu states and especially in Andhra Pradesh. Senior women politicians Daggubati Purandheswari and DK Aruna have been named in the list. Daggubati Purandheswari has been named as the National General Secretary of BJP from Andhra Pradesh. DK Aruna from Telangana has been named as one of the National Vice Presidents. JP Nadda announced the new team of members for the party after he took charge nine months ago.

60% of the team has new faces and there is more representation for women. Saroj Pandey, Ram Madhav and Murlidhar Rao are dropped as the National General Secretaries. BL Santosh will continue as the National General Secretary of BJP. Rajesh Aggarwal is the treasurer of the party. Dr K Laxman from Telangana is in-charge of the OBC cell. Purandheswari and DK Aruna have been idle from the past few months after they lost in the polls. There are strong speculations that the Centre will have a major cabinet reshuffle. GVL Narasimha Rao from AP has been sacked from his position because of his poor work from the past few months.
