KCR Orders to Issue Maroon Colour Passbooks:- For the first time in the country, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) ordered the officials to issue a maroon colour pattadar passbooks for all the non-agricultural property holders to protect the rights of the owners and curb the encroachments in Telangana after the land prices in the state reached sky high. KCR held a high-level meeting with the officials about the new Revenue Act and the Dharani portal. KCR ensured that the issuance of passbook will ensure the sale of any property in a transparent manner. The digitalization of the documents and the properties is currently happening and the Dharani portal will come into operation very soon.
KCR announced that the Telangana government will distribute the passbooks for all the land owners very soon. KCR instructed the officials to complete the process of mutation of the properties without collecting any fees from the land owners. KCR even asked the land owners to have a thorough check on the process of mutation as there would be troubles during the transfer of the properties to their children. All the houses that are constructed in the agricultural lands will be regularized very soon in the villages as well as the urban regions. KCR instructed the local representatives to resolve the issues in the state. Telangana Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KTR along with the other ministers and officials are present during the meeting.
