AP Registers 7228 New Cases of Coronavirus in the State:- A total number of 7228 new cases of coronavirus are registered in Andhra Pradesh in the past 24 hours. 72,838 samples are tested in Andhra Pradesh yesterday and the total tally of cases now stands at 6,43,635 in the state. 5,67,772 people completed recovered in the state till date and 8291 people recovered yesterday alone in Andhra Pradesh. 70,357 people are currently recovering and are taking treatment for coronavirus in the state. The total deaths in Andhra Pradesh reached 5506 and 45 people passed away in Andhra Pradesh in the past 24 hours. The total samples tested in Andhra Pradesh till date stands at 53,02,367.

Anantapur, Chittoor, East Godavari, Guntur, Kadapa, Prakasam and West Godavari districts reported a huge number of cases in the past 24 hours. Andhra Pradesh is the second worst-hit state in India after Maharashtra in coronavirus tally. The total cases of coronavirus in the country are now at 56,46,011. The total number of people that are cured or discharged is said to be 45,87, 614 and the total active cases in India are said to be 9,68,377. A total number of 90,020 people passed away in the country because of coronavirus. India stands second in the global list of coronavirus and the USA is on the top of the list. The global tally of coronavirus cases is at 3.14 crores and the deaths reached 9.68 lakhs.
