Coronavirus India Tally Crosses 51 Lakh Mark:- The total number of coronavirus cases in the country crossed 51 lakh mark and the total tally stands at 51,18,254. 1132 people passed away in the country in the past 24 hours and 40,25,080 people recovered from the coronavirus in the country. The total number of active cases in the country are at 10,09,976. The Union Health Ministry released the official numbers today and the total recoveries crossed 40 lakhs in the country. A total number of 97,894 new cases of coronavirus are registered in the country today. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is tested positive with coronavirus yesterday.

The death toll in the country stands at 83,198 and the total active cases in the country crossed 10 lakh mark for the first time in the country. The fatality rate of coronavirus is 1.63 percent. Telangana reported 2,159 new COVID-19 cases and the total reached 1,65,003 and the death toll stands at 1005. The Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP clashed over the issue of coronavirus in the Rajya Sabha today after AAP termed Narendra Modi's move to beat utensils foolish. Around 11,36,613 samples of coronavirus are tested in the country yesterday and the total samples tested in India are at 6,05,65,728. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu continue to report more number of cases of coronavirus. The infections are rising in Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
