No Clarity on Reopening of Schools in Telangana:- There is no clarity about the reopening of the schools in Telangana said P Sabitha Indra Reddy, the Cabinet Minister for Education. There are talks that the schools in Telangana will reopen from September 21st but Sabitha Indra Reddy said that there is no clarity about the reopening of schools as of now. Sabitha Indra Reddy said that all the management of the private schools are informed not to collect more fees from parents because of the ongoing crisis due to the coronavirus pandemic. Some of the schools have been issued memos for ignoring the orders and they have been asked to come up with an explanation said Sabitha Indra Reddy.
"Around 67.57 lakh students (school, college and engineering students) are promoted for the year as there is no chance to conduct the exams because of the coronavirus pandemic. All the educational institutions are closed from March 16th this year. All the government school students are instructed to follow the online classes through Doordarshan and T-SAT network. Telangana Chief Minister KCR asked instructed the Education Department to distribute the books for all the students. The students are also given worksheets to collect the feedback from the students" said Sabitha Indra Reddy. A clarity about the commencement of schools will be attained next month after analyzing the coronavirus wave.
