AP, Telangana Kept on Alert Ahead of Heavy Rainfall:- Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana received heavy rainfall on Sunday. The IMD issued a heavy rain alert for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana ahead of the low-pressure area that was formed over the west central Bay of Bengal. The coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha along with some of the districts of Telangana are expected to receive heavy rainfall told the bulletin of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). The monsoon trough lies south of its position and the eastern end is likely to shift further. Heavy rains are expected in Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Odisha and Telangana for the next two days. Gujarat is expected to receive heavy rainfall on September 16th.
A cyclonic circulation is set across the east Central Arabian Sea of the Maharashtra. Telugu states also received heavy rainfall last evening. All the officials across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are alerted with this. Adilabad, Mancheryal, Karimnagar, Siddipet, Bhupalapalli, Mahabubnagar, Warangal, Janagom, Yadadri, Khammam, Suryapet, Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Medchal districts are expected to receive huge rainfall in the next couple of days in Telangana. The fishermen have been warned not to return to the sea for the next week before this alert. All the districts of Andhra Pradesh are expected to receive heavy rainfalls today and tomorrow.
