Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the students at the School Education Conclave today about the changes in the National Education Policy 2020. Modi expressed his confidence that the NEP will pave new paths for the future generations for the 21st century in the country. He said that the National Education Policy should be implemented effectively. The Education Ministry of India received close to 15 lakh suggestions on the implementation of NEP told Narendra Modi during his speech as a part of Shiksha Parv that is celebrated from 8th September to 25th September. Here are the highlights of Narendra Modi's speech:

National Education Policy 2020 is the way to fulfill the aspirations of the country. It should be implemented effectively across India. We have to learn and unlearn a lot. Every student will get indulged in the new Education Policy by the year 2022.

All the teachers, students, parents, NGOs, and other organizations should join the new mission. The students should be taught in their mother tongue. The primary motive is that the child should understand what he is taught. The students understand in the language they speak at home and hence they should be taught in their mother tongue.

All the students should learn to question so that they can learn the concept easily. They should also start learning on their own. Most of the students are not allowed to explore the practical aspect of education.

We should not limit education to the classroom walls. Most of the questions received by the government about NEP 2020 are valid and critical.
