Andhra Pradesh High Court Orders the Government to Implement GO 411:- The liquor policy in Andhra Pradesh left the people worried. Thousands of cases are recorded across the borders in the recent months about the export of liquor to the state after the government has been charging exorbitant prices for liquor. The government is running the liquor shops and the local brands are ruling the state's liquor marts. Though the government led by YSRCP called up for a liquor ban, it was not implemented in the state. The number of stores is reduced and the prices are increased. The branded liquor was absent in Andhra Pradesh after the rise of illegal liquor export from neighboring states got increased. The AP Government arranged several checkpoints at the state borders and thousands of liquor bottles are seized in the recent months.

The High Court of Andhra Pradesh gave a huge relief for the people after it allowed the importation of three bottles per person from other states into Andhra Pradesh. The High Court asked the government of Andhra Pradesh to implement GO 411. A writ petition was heard by the High Court and the petitioners said that the cops seized alcohol that is brought from neighboring states. The court after hearing the arguments said that an individual can carry up to three bottles of alcohol from the neighboring states. The liquor loves can fetch their favorite brands from the neighboring states as per the rules of Andhra Pradesh High Court.
