Indian Railways Continues Suspension On Passenger Trains:- All the passenger and regular express train services are kept on hold ever since the coronavirus pandemic attacked the country. The Railway Board today clarified that the ban on the regular passenger trains will continue and they would remain suspended till September 30th. All the passenger, mail, express and suburban services will continue to remain suspended till September 30th informed Indian Railways. All the 230 special trains that are currently being operated would continue to serve the people without any changes.

The Indian Railways issued the statement after the ban on regular trains is coming to an end by August 12th. The Indian Railways is running in heavy losses but they are not ready to resume the services as the spread of coronavirus pandemic is huge in the country. A total number of 22,15,074 cases of coronavirus are registered in the country to date. The deaths in the country due to the pandemic reached 44,386. The domestic flights resumed recently but the traffic is not so satisfactory. The international services are resumed to some of the countries on mutual approvals. India is running international flights to the USA and France currently.
