Ram Mandir Trust Receives Donations of Rs 41 Cr:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the first brick for the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust received a total donation of Rs 41 crores till date and this is huge even before the construction of the temple started. Several religious leaders like Swamy Chidananda Saraswathi, Swami Avdeshanand Giri, Baba Ramdev donated big amounts for the trust and the Rs 41 crores have nothing to do with the donations made by the religious leaders. These are the donations made by Tuesday as per the logbook. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust said that the people continued to donate for the trust even during the coronavirus pandemic time.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust started receiving donations from March 25th when the lockdown for coronavirus was imposed. A net banking option was made open to make the donations transparent. Around 5000 people made donations till date said the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The bigger amounts came through cheques and e-banking. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust said that the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act certification is currently under process and they would accept donations from NRIs soon.
