Historic Day: Narendra Modi to Lay First Brick for Ram Mandir in Ayodhya:- The historic bhumi pooja and groundbreaking rituals for Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will take place today and the arrangements, preparations are going on full swing. Modi will spend three hours in the holy city and will lay the first brick for the construction of Ram Mandir. He will offer prayers to Ram Lalla before he heads for the groundbreaking ceremony. Four other persons along with Narendra Modi will share the stage due to coronavirus. 175 guests are invited for the historic event which will witness veteran politicians and Chief Ministers from various states. 135 priests will be present to perform the rituals and the entire ceremony will be telecasted live on Doordarshan.

The entire Ayodhya city is painted in yellow and around 4000 security personnel are taking care of the security cover ahead of the groundbreaking event of Ram Mandir. 75 checkpoints are arranged and the roads are blocked. 144 section is imposed in Kalaburagi in Karnataka. The three-day Vedic rituals commenced on Monday and Narendra Modi will lay a 40-kg silver brick to start the construction of Ram Mandir. Modi will arrive Lucknow at 10:35 AM and will fly down to Saket Degree College in Ayodhya through a chopper. He will reach Ram Janmabhoomi by afternoon and will offer prayers in Ram Lalla temple.
