Oxford Vaccine's Trials And Manufacturing To Start In India Soon:- After the license is procured, the trials for the coronavirus vaccine that is developed at the Oxford University will start said an Indian firm that is working close to Oxford and the researchers in the United Kingdom. The first phase of the clinical trials fetched a positive response for the vaccine AZD1222. There are no side effects and all the volunteers elicited antibody. The details about the trial have been published in the medical journal 'The Lancet'. The trials involving 1077 people fetched positive results making antibodies and white blood cells that can fight coronavirus.

The researchers said that the vaccine had minor side effects and these can be reduced by using paracetamol. Serum Institute of India is joining hands with Oxford University and the Chief Adar Poonawalla says that they are extremely happy with the trials after the results have been promising. Adar Poonawalla says that they would apply for the trials for the license in a week and the trials will start once the permissions are granted. The vaccination will be manufactured in large volumes said Adar Poonawalla. The human trials of Oxford University's vaccine started on April 23rd and the trials are positive and they are ahead in the race.
