AP Government Takes A Crucial Call On Junior Colleges:- Andhra Pradesh government has been quite concerned over the education system and the students after the arrival of coronavirus. The State Education Department already issued strict instructions to the private schools and colleges regarding the fee structure and the commencement of the educational year. The Andhra Pradesh government now took a crucial decision about the junior colleges in the state. All the high schools with enough number of students will be converted into junior colleges. The State Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh met the Inter board officials last week.

A series of meetings are held after which the decision was taken. All the high schools in the Mandal headquarters of Andhra Pradesh will be upgraded into junior colleges. A discussion took place about the decrease in the number of students in junior colleges after having a handsome strength in tenth standard. Hence, the government decided to establish junior college classes in the high schools to get enough number of students. Minister Suresh discussed about this with the Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and got his nod. With the approval of YS Jagan, the decision was made and all the major high schools will now have the classes of junior college in Andhra Pradesh.
