AP Government Puts Capital Shifting On Hold:- Andhra Pradesh's government proposed multiple capitals for the state not restricting the development to Amaravati. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy was criticized for the move and hundreds of farmers protested against the government's decision. But the government of Andhra Pradesh continued with the plan and the executive capital of Andhra Pradesh is planned to be set up in Vizag. As per the latest news, the government of Andhra Pradesh decided to put the capital shifting to Vizag on hold.

The decision has been taken after the number of coronavirus cases have increased badly in the state. As per the experts, the cases may increase further in July and August because of which the plan is now kept on hold. YS Jagan is in plans to take the call on shifting the capital to Vizag at the right time. The judicial capital of Andhra Pradesh will be shifted to Kurnool and Amaravati will be the legislative capital of the state. All the related bills are passed in the Assembly house.
