9600 New Coronavirus Cases In A Day In India:- For the first time, the daily number of new cases crossed 9000 in a day in the country. 9651 new cases of coronavirus are registered yesterday and 270 people passed away due to the deadly virus. This is also the highest death toll in a single day in India. The infections are increasing on a steady pace and India reported the world's third-highest number of cases in a single day. The total number of cases of coronavirus in the country stands at 2,19,117 and the total number of deaths are 6349. Maharashtra is on the top of the list with 2933 cases and Mumbai has 1439 cases with 48 deaths.

Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala and Jammu and Kashmir continued to receive a huge number of new cases. Delhi too has a huge number of cases and the infections have seen a rise in the past one week. Delhi had 1359 new cases on Thursday and the total number of cases in Delhi are said to be 25,004. With the country allowed to relax, the number of cases are fastly increasing. The Centre also announced the reopening of shopping malls and temples from June 8th and this would indeed increase the infections.
