Centre Closely Monitoring To Resume International Flight Service:- Hardeep Singh Puri, the Union Minister of Civil Aviation posted a series of tweets that hinted about resuming the international flights very soon. He said that the Centre is closely monitoring the situations during this coronavirus pandemic and they will reinstate soon after things return to normalcy. Hardeep Singh Puri said that the situations in the country are better and there is no danger for our citizens. As per the issued guidelines, the international flight services are suspended till June 30th.

"Indians continue to return home on Vande Bharat flights from different parts of the world. Today, 2716 people have returned from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Muscat, Moscow, Jeddah & Kiev. The mission has been further ramped up with the announcement of Phase-3 between 9-30 June" posted Hardeep Singh Puri. He said that the domestic operations should touch 50-60% after which the international flights would be considered. Hardeep Singh Puri said that they are considering international flights from the major cities with selected services.

"Normal International civil aviation operations will only start when they can. Right now most of our metro cities are under some form of restrictions due to which people from other cities cannot travel to catch flights & we also have a requirement for mandatory quarantine on arrival" posted Hardeep Singh Puri.
