China Delayed Revealing Coronavirus Says WHO:- The deadly coronavirus started in China and it is spread across all the countries of the globe now. The World Health Organization (WHO) said that they struggled a lot to get the needed information about coronavirus from China during the early days of the spread. The news came out as per the recordings of the internal meetings. The recordings are obtained by the Associated Press and the officials complained about the information in January that Beijing was not sharing the data needed. The officials wanted to evaluate the risk of the virus and its spread but they received no response.
It was after January 20th, China confirmed that the disease was contagious. WHO declared coronavirus as a global emergency on January 30th. Maria Van Kerkhove, an epidemiologist and the WHO technical lead for Covid-19 said that they went with minimal information. They just gave 15 minutes of time. USA staged attack several times in the recent weeks saying that China was well aware about this crisis and it all started in a lab in Wuhan. The WHO officials feared a repeat of the Sars epidemic in 2002. As of now, 63,64,488 people are infected with coronavirus and 3,78,598 people passed away across the globe.
