Telangana Government Offers Further Relaxations In The State:- Telangana cabinet met yesterday in the presence of Chief Minister KCR to discuss about the further steps to be taken and about the extension of the lockdown in the state which will end on May 31st. Though the number of cases in the state continued to be high, Telangana Chief Minister KCR offered further relaxation in the state. With the state left in deep financial crisis, KCR asked all the shops to be opened from today after a high-level meeting in the state. Except the opening of shopping malls and permitting RTC buses in the city of Hyderabad, the state is given all relaxations.
KCR said that the curfew would continue in the nights and the buses are granted permission in the nights. RTC buses are exempted from the curfew in the nights and will run up to Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station. A call on the inter-state bus services, Hyderabad Metro and about the city bus services would be taken soon in the next meeting said KCR. All the passengers who have bus tickets will be allowed in the night. Autos and cabs are allowed in the nights to make the passengers comfortable. KCR said that the people should not panic about the number of cases and he asked them to strictly follow social distancing. KCR said that the Telangana government is quite efficient and the officials can handle the number of cases. The officials are instructed to provide emergency care for those patients whose health situations are critical.
Telangana witnessed 107 new cases on Wednesday which is the highest for the state in a single day in Telangana. The total number of cases of coronavirus crossed 2000 mark. The death toll in the state reached 63.
