Cyclone Amphan Kills 72 In West Bengal:- The deadliest Amphan cyclone had a huge impact on the states Odisha and West Bengal. The death toll because of the devastation of cyclone Amphan reached 72 in Bengal said the state's Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. She announced a compensation of Rs 2.5 lakhs for all those affected due to the cyclone. The Kolkata airport is badly affected and the visuals are now viral across the internet. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said the cyclone is moving towards north-northeastwards and will turn weak soon.

“Have been seeing visuals from West Bengal on the devastation caused by Cyclone Amphan. In this challenging hour, the entire nation stands in solidarity with West Bengal. Praying for the well-being of the people of the state. Efforts are on to ensure normalcy,” posted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi after he watched the visuals and damage that is caused due to cyclone Amphan. West Bengal is already due to coronavirus and now the cyclone had a huge impact on the state.
