Indian Railways To Start Passenger Train Services From Tomorrow:- In a surprising move, the Centre announced that Indian Railways would be operating 15 passenger trains starting from tomorrow. The operations would start from May 12th and the tickets would be available on IRCTC web portal from 4 PM today. The tickets would also be available at the railway stations. The government made it mandatory to wear face masks and thermal screening would be done before the departure of the trains. All the trains would be air-conditioned trains and the ticket prices would be of Rajadhani trains.

A total of 30 trains would be operating which would include 15 pairs of trains and their return trips. All the trains would run from New Delhi to cities like Dibrugarh, Agartala, Howrah, Patna, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Trivandrum, Madgaon, Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad and Jammu Tawi. The Indian Railways is in plans to run more trains after the lockdown gets lifted and this would be a trial run after being instructed by the Centre. All these trains would be connecting 15 important cities of the country to the national capital.
