21 Telangana Districts To Be Coronavirus Free:- The Chief Minister of Telangana, KCR issued a clarification that the state would have 21 districts that would be free from coronavirus by today. KCR lauded the Medical and Health departments for work with utmost efficiency to face any eventuality. KCR said that the government was prepared to treat any number of cases. KCR held a video conference with the medical officers and health officials after he had a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday. He said that 16 people got discharged yesterday and 2 people were tested positive from 159 tests that were conducted.

"The decrease in number of cases is a clear sign that Telangana will soon turn coronavirus free. 21 districts did not have a single new case and if the situations continue, the containment zones across the state would be lifted. There is nothing much to worry as things are completely under control. The lockdown in Telangana will continue till May 7th and I urge the people to cooperate with the insisted guidelines. Please restrict yourself to your homes for some more time. There are no positive cases in 30 circles of GHMC. A large bunch of people will come out of quarantine by May 8th" said KCR.
