Coronavirus Cases Cross 20,000 In India:- Coronavirus turned out to be the new scare of the country and the positive cases witnessed a huge rise all over. 1465 fresh cases along with 49 deaths are reported in the country on Tuesday. The total number of cases in the country crossed 20,000 even after the whole country. The testing remains a challenge in the country. Rajasthan complained that the accuracy of the rapid testing kits is just 5.4% and 94.6% of the results are wrong. ICMR asked the states not to use the testing kits for the next couple of days. The Centre ordered 6.5 lakh rapid testing kits from China.

Around 35,852 samples are tested in the country yesterday and the number of cases saw a huge rise. 53 journalists from Mumbai are tested positive. The coronavirus even reached Rashtrapati Bhavan and 125 families are kept in home isolation. Maharashtra registered 552 new cases and 19 people passed away in the state. Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu contribute 14,746 cases which equal to 78%. A total number of 603 people died in the country due to coronavirus and 3269 patients got discharged after they are cured. The country is currently under strict lockdown till May 3rd.
