PNB Fraud Case: Nirav Modi's Brother Steps Out To Help ED:- Billionaire businessman Nirav Modi fled from the country after he owes a huge amount of money to the Indian banks. Neeshal Modi, the younger brother of Nirav Modi wrote a letter to the Enforcement Directorate saying that he would co-operate in the case. Neeshal too has been facing charges by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the PNB fraud case of Rs 13,578 crores. Neeshal shared the news about a forensic audit that was conducted by Van Den Keybus Van Der Jeught, a Belgium-based firm. It certified that all the transactions were authentic with proper documentary evidences. Firestar Diamond BVBA was used by Nirav Modi to launder all the money and divert it to international firms. Neeshal Modi was also one of the directors of Firestar Diamond.

"I am willing to co-operate for the investigation and will help the department as per the law. I am expecting a positive response from your office with an open mind and meet me in Antwerp. I will clarify all the doubts about the cases related to Nirav Modi and my family. I have nothing to do with the scams of my brother. I am not aware about the dealings of Nirav Modi and his transactions. There is nothing on record to prove that I am a part of the transactions of Nirav Modi. I never visited any banks or I did not communicate with any officials about the business activities of my brother Nirav Modi" said Neeshal. Nirav Modi is currently lodged at Wandsworth prison in southwest London and the proceedings of extradition are currently pending.
