945 New Coronavirus Cases In India:- The coronavirus cases in the country are increasing on a regular basis. 945 new coronavirus cases are registered yesterday in India which happens to be the highest till date. Friday happens to be the 17th day of the lockdown and the number of cases are increasing badly from the past one week. The United Health Ministry denied the news of coronavirus entering state 3 of community transmission. The Health Ministry said the spread of coronavirus is a chain process that spreads faster. In most of the cases, the spread is increasing as the contact tracing is not done well.
The Health Ministry said that 1.45 lakh samples are tested in the country till date and 16,000 are tested on Thursday. The total number of positive cases in the country crossed 7000. Maharashtra is leading the list with over 1500 cases. A study by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that the infection was due to respiratory illness with no travel history in over 52 districts. Several regions are identified as hotspots that are locked completely. With the arrival of testing kits, rapid tests are conducted all over the country and the number of positive cases in the country are expected to take a sharp rise. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation tomorrow and he is expected to announce the extension of lockdown.
