AP-Telangana Border Closed: People Left In Panic:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the lockdown of the entire country. Several students and bachelors residing across Hyderabad suffered a lot after most of the hostels remained shut. They approached the nearest police stations and acquired letters to reach their hometowns on their personal vehicles. Tension erupted after thousands of youngsters are stopped at the Andhra Pradesh border. Even after the Telangana police issued no objection certificate, they are stopped at the border last night.

Nearly 8000 people received NOCs. Telangana Minister KTR personally called up AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy to look into the issue. AP Government ordered 14 days of quarantine for all those crossing the border. The government clarified asking the youth to return back to Telangana if they are not ready for quarantine. The people of Guntur and Krishna districts are shifted to Nuzvid IIIT. The residents of West Godavari district are sent to Tadepalligudem and from East Godavari are sent to Rajamundhry. Special quarantine centres are arranged across all the districts.

Medical tests are conducted for all the people who crossed AP border from Telangana.
