KCR Speaks About CAA In Telangana Assembly

KCR Speaks About CAA In Telangana Assembly:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) opposed the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) right from day one after it was announced. KCR even said that a resolution will be passed in the state's Assembly opposing CAA. Speaking about the same in Assembly, KCR said that we are living in civilian society and we cannot tolerate such acts made by the Centre. KCR even said that he has the right to speak about such issues. The resolution against CAA will be taken in the Assembly today.

KCR earlier quoted that he himself doesn't have a birth certificate and he questioned the Centre if he should die for this. "We have several strong reasons to oppose CAA, NPR and NRC. There is no need to support them. States like Kerala, Rajasthan and West Bengal already passed the resolution in their state Assemblies opposing the CAA" said KCR. With a complete majority for TRS in the house, the resolution against CAA will be passed successfully.
