KCR Speaks In Telangana Assembly About Coronavirus Row

KCR Speaks In Telangana Assembly About Coronavirus Row:- Telangana Chief Minister KCR after having a word with the Health Minister Etela Rajendar and the health officials spoke about the measures to be taken against the deadly coronavirus. Here are the highlights of his speech:

We are on alert in the state. Around 65 people are tested positive with coronavirus in the country. A person got cured in Gandhi Hospital, Hyderabad and is discharged.

In 1819, a virus named Spanish flu broke out and killed crores of people. Coronavirus is spreading due to international connectivity.

Telangana is extremely safe as of now and one patient is kept in Gandhi Hospital's special ward. The person flew from Italy. Samples of other patients are sent to Pune and the reports are awaited.

Karnataka is completely shut down to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The Health officials of Telangana are under meeting now and some big announcements will be made about the same.

Hyderabad is one of the biggest metro cities of the country. The air traffic increased by 150% and 4 lakh people are traveling through Hyderabad Metro on a regular basis.

All the passengers coming from selected countries will be in isolation wards for 14 days and sent free if they are not infected with coronavirus.

200 officials from Telangana Health Department are in Hyderabad Airport and they are monitoring the passengers.

A cabinet meeting is planned this evening and after discussing with the cabinet and the health officials, we will meet the press and will update about the steps to be taken. We are ready to spend any amount of money to prevent coronavirus.
