MP Politics: Kamal Nath's Government Facing A Political Threat:- Madhya Pradesh politics witnessed a huge surprise after 17 MLAs who are quite loyal to the ruling Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia took a chartered flight and landed in Bengaluru last night. Chief Minister Kamal Nath is left in shock with the happening. Former Chief Minister and BJP Chief Shivraj Singh Chouhan made it clear that this happens to be completely an internal affair in Congress and BJP has nothing much to do with this. Jyotiraditya Scindia is unavailable to make any comment on this and he is not reachable for any party leader.
Congress leader Digvijay Singh clarified that they could not trace Jyotiraditya Scindia yet. He said that he was told that Jyotiraditya Scindia was suffering from swine flu and is unable to talk. Madhya Pradesh's government has 120 MLAs which is just four over the majority mark from the 230 member house. BJP has 107 MLAs. Congress will now lose their majority in the house if the flown 17 MLAs submits their resignation. Jyotiraditya Scindia lost the race against Kamal Nath in taking over the Chief Minister's chair after the 2018 polls.
Kamal Nath's government will now face a political threat as they would fall short of majority.
