Rs 10000 Cr Allocated For Hyderabad Infra In Telangana Budget:- The Telangana government allocated a whopping amount of Rs 10,000 crores for the development of Hyderabad. This includes Rs 11,917 crores for the weaker section housing along with Rs 6225 crores for the waiver of farm loans. These happen to be the biggest allocations of the Telangana budget 2020-21. Telangana government proposed more than 27% increase in the budget expenditure at Rs 1,82,914.42 crores for the year 2020-21. The revenue surplus is said to be Rs 4482 crores. The fiscal deficit is pegged at Rs 33,191 crores.
Telangana government expects a meager 4.62% increase in the share of central taxes at Rs 16,726 crores. A major portion of the allocated Rs 10,000 crores for Hyderabad will be used for Musi river purification and Musi riverfront project. Telangana IT Minister KTR thanked KCR for the support and huge allocation for Hyderabad city. "Would like to extend sincere gratitude to Hon’ble CM Sri KCR Garu on the allocation of Rs 10K Crores for Hyderabad Urban Agglomeration. This will help expedite ongoing all infrastructure works (Roads, Water & sewerage network & public transport) & improved amenities" said KTR.
