One Year for the Deadly Pulwama Attack:- The Pulwama terror attack will be remembered by every Indian for years which took place on February 14th last year. 40 CRPF jawans got killed by a Jaish-e-Mohammed suicide bomber in Jammu and Kashmir. Adil Ahmed rammed his SUV loaded with 350kgs of explosive into a bus that is carrying 40 jawans. The Indian security forces are keeping it strict to prevent such attacks in the coming years. It is really hard to deal with suicide bombers. The Indian security agencies believe that the Pulwama terror attack was sophisticated and it was perfect execution.

The newer equipment of IED detection and neutralization is available in the market but it is yet to be upgraded with the security grid. The troops have been soft targets from the past few years as they do not have any bulletproof vehicles. After the Pulwama attack, several key changes are made. There is a huge reduction in the convoy movement. Some of the personnel are sent in non-entitled air class. However, maintaining civilian traffic from Jammu to Kupwara is quite difficult. Security needs to be beefed up across the sensitive regions of Kashmir all round the year. The induction of Ground Penetrating Radars (GPR) and handheld radars are increased.
