Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendra - Making Medications Cheaper and Accessible:- Healthcare industry has been on a rapid boom in India, with increased prices of drugs and medications and over the top expenses for medical procedures. While these kinds of expenses are accessible for the people who are well off, the same isn’t for the people who are working day in and out to make ends meet.

Addressing the same issues, the Central Government of India has introduced the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendra (PMBJK) which are government pharmacies selling the necessary drugs and medications at a discounted price of up to 60-80%.

The main objective with the PMBJK medical stores is to make the availability and accessibility of the generic medications in India a lot more seamless. The Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendra (PMBJK) was launched by the Pharma Advisory Forum on April 23, 2008 in various districts of the country.
